An error that can’t record a new network in the Metamask portfolio

I was excited to use my Mnemonic phrase to create a personalized RPC network in Metamask, but unfortunately, it doesn’t work as expected. Here’s what happened:

Step 1: Creating a custom RPC network

To create a personalized RPC network with a specific name and URL, I followed these steps:

  • I imported my Mnemonic phrase in Metamask.

  • I chose “Create RPC” from the upper right corner of the screen.

  • I was prompted to choose a network name. I entered Ganache.

  • I entered http: // localhost: 9545 as stated in your message.

Step 2: Save and return

However, after clicking “Creating a Network”, Metamask did not save changes. This suggests that there was a problem with maintaining the new network.

Step 3: Study of potential reasons

A few potential reasons for this problem:

* Network name : If two or more networks share a similar name, it can cause problems with saving and loading custom RPC networks.
